Dear NSA, let me take care of your slides
A quick note today. I found a rather humouristic presentation about a topic that has been in the news lately : the PRISM system of electronic spying.
I don't know if the content is real in the slides below, but that is not the point of this post.
In Dear NSA, let me take care of your slides, Emiland makes a stunning point about how designing slides in an engaging way, not only conveys content /your point in a better fashion, but also can help you get your project approved.
On a personal level, I am far from being able to produce such a slick work as Emiland did here, but I make an effort on visual impact / perception as well as actual content whenever I prepare a presentation for a conference, or a document preparing a budget request, a project update, or even the results of the anual compensation review.
I believe all HR and C&B pros should do the same.
So please go through these quick slides and see the amazing difference in clarity between the Before and After. Kudos to Emiland, and no wonder this presentation had been viewed over 870,000 times on Slideshare as of this posting ! (RSS readers may have to click through in order to view the slides).
